The daughter of the Regent's residence, Yun Shu, was lost as a child and adopted by a restaurant owner, Zhao Li, who treated Yun Shu as a slave and constantly made things difficult for her. Zhao Li's son, Zhao Jue, coveted Yun Shu's beauty and repeatedly tried to take advantage of her but was unsuccessful. On an occasion, a Yun family attendant recognized the birthmark on Yun Shu during a journey and quickly reported this to the Yun family. Yun Shu's three brothers, overjoyed to learn of this, immediately put aside their affairs and hurried to bring back their long-missed sister after fifteen years.
